Hello CCL volunteers and supporters in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions! 

I hope you are staying healthy and staying safe. While we are getting bombarded with bad news on a daily basis,  I’m happy to be sharing a bit of good news. I’m very excited to tell you about the formation of CCL’s newest region… Appalachia!

The region was formed when I was brought on as full-time regional coordinator and consists of Pennsylvania which is coming from the Mid-Atlantic Region and Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia which are coming from the Southeast Region. This alleviates some of the workload which regional coordinators Don Addu and Solemi Hernandez have been shouldering with such an enormous region geographically. I’m excited Pennsylvania will be joining these states from the Southeast to continue on the fantastic work volunteers have accomplished so far under Don and Solemi’s leadership. At the same time, I hope and trust that the relationships and collaborations you’ve made within the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions will continue regardless of new regional boundaries. Also, I trust that you'll enjoy and benefit from the new partnerships we will create in our Appalachian region, and CCL will become a stronger organization because of it.
