Trump-holdover Postmaster Louis DeJoy has disrupted vote by mail before–what’s stopping him from doing it again? Right now, nothing.
DeJoy is out to privatize the U.S. Postal Service. To do so, he has initiated a 10-year plan that is slowing mail delivery and raising prices. These issues initiated by DeJoy have already been found to have obstructed mail-in voting in 2020.
Now, in the lead-up to the 2024 election, DeJoy continues to sabotage the USPS as millions of Americans prepare to take advantage of voting-by-mail options. With nearly half of the votes cast by mail in 2020, and over a third in 2022, now is not the time for added slowdowns.
It’s time for the USPS Inspector General, USPS Board of Governors, and the Postal Regulatory Commission to step in, stop Louis DeJoy, and protect vote by mail immediately.
Click here to sign and send your direct message now: Stop DeJoy from sabotaging vote by mail.
