FIRST: Courts in Colorado, Illinois, and Maine ruled that Trump’s actions during the January 6th insurrection disqualified him from appearing on the ballot due to the 14th Amendment of the Constitution.

THEN: The right-wing Supreme Court struck down these rulings, citing states did not have the power to remove Trump from the ballot, only Congress does.

NOW: Jamie Raskin is taking matters into his own hands and is crafting a bill to have the House of Representatives declare Trump is no longer eligible on ballots nationwide!
