Hi,

Earth Day 2024 has officially passed and, although every day is Earth Day, we’re spending some time reflecting on what we did this year. The theme for Earth Day 2024 is Planet vs. Plastics, and we spent our time advocating for human and environmental health, which is suffering at the hands of plastic producers.

This year, we hosted a variety of in-person events, all the way from India to Ottowa. We also send letters to Dow Inc., asking them to release their research on the impacts of plastics on human health so that we can move forward as a united front to fight this crisis. We held daily digital events exploring education, sustainable fashion, plastics, and our other campaigns. Around the globe, a billion people acknowledged Earth Day.

Now that we’ve told you some of our actions, we want to hear from you.

The environmental movement relies on people like you, so we want to hear your story — even if you didn’t participate in Earth Day through EARTHDAY.ORG. Did you participate in a protest? Plant a tree? Send a letter to a legislator? No matter what it is, now is your chance to tell us!

Earth Day is a year-long movement, and we will continue to fight against plastics beyond April. We hope you will join us! Start by reflecting on what you’ve already done this year to fight for the environment.
