We know this is a challenging time, and we’re so grateful you took the time to open this email. We wanted to give you a quick update on our race. Here’s the truth, John:

Democrats need to flip just four seats to take back the Senate majority this year and end Mitch McConnell’s tenure as Majority Leader. We have an incredible opportunity to flip one of those seats in North Carolina.

Pitch in right here if you can to help Cal flip this Senate seat >>

The fact is, incumbent Republican Senator Thom Tillis is underwater. A new poll shows only 26% of North Carolinians approve of the job he’s doing in Congress.

That’s even lower than President Trump’s approval rating, and part of the reason election forecasters think Cal has a real chance to win this race. Some are even calling North Carolina the state that will decide the Senate majority.

Mitch McConnell knows this, and he’s so worried about keeping his grip on power that his super PAC network announced they would spend $22 million in advertising to try to sink Cal and save Tillis. That’s more than they’re spending in any other Senate race in the country!

So, we’re asking: Can you pitch in to help flip North Carolina and take back the Senate? We understand it’s a difficult time — so please only give if you’re able to do so. Thank you.

Together, we’re going to flip this seat and send Cal to the U.S. Senate. Thank you for being a part of this team.
