We’re thrilled to announce a new letter writing campaign unlike any previous Vote Forward campaign: you can now write letters to U.S. voters living abroad!
There are millions of voters living abroad who can make a real difference in elections, but they receive almost no election outreach. That's why our partner organization, the Center for U.S. Voters Abroad, has been able to achieve very strong results by contacting these voters—and why we're working with them to bring you this high-impact letter campaign now.
As in our other Political letter campaigns, you’ll be writing to likely Democratic voters. However, please note that this is different from our other letter writing campaigns in a few ways:
- These letters will require international forever stamps, which currently cost $1.55 each.
- Along with your letter, you’ll print and include the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) form, which voters can use to request their absentee ballot to vote from abroad.
- Letters for this campaign should be sent as soon as they are written so the recipient has plenty of time to register, but no later than July 11. Please take care to keep them separate from any letters you’re writing for campaigns with a mail date later this year.
