Dear advocate,

May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month!

As we celebrate the contributions and culture of AANHPI communities, I find myself reflecting on the roots of OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates — roots that stretch back over 50 years and have only grown thanks to your support and advocacy.

This month, plant your own roots that grow into a strong, stable foundation for your loved ones and AANHPI communities. I’m sharing this free will-writing tool as one way to plan for your future and empower your legacy ([link removed]) .

Many of your fellow OCA advocates have used this resource to create an estate plan at no cost. As one person said last spring:

“They take a process that seems like a lot of work and make it quick and easy. There's not a lot of confusing legal talk. You’ll be happy!”

Create my free will! ([link removed])

You can also honor AANHPI Heritage Month by including a lasting legacy gift in your plans. This gift costs nothing today but ensures OCA can stop anti-Asian Hate, provide professional development opportunities, and continue our policy and advocacy actions for years to come.

Let’s celebrate AANHPI Heritage Month by honoring our roots and planting our own to impact the future of our community.

Sincerely,

Thu Nguyen
Executive Director, OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates

P.S. If you’ve already created an estate plan and planted roots with a legacy gift to OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates, please fill out this brief form ([link removed]) !
