Dear John,
Although many special people have been essential to our success in being the political voice for Wisconsin’s environment, one person in particular has been at the center of it all: our talented and tireless Executive Director, Kerry Schumann.
Today we celebrate Kerry's 20th year leading Wisconsin Conservation Voters. And, I'm delighted to share that the City of Madison and Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway have proclaimed today, May 1, 2024, Kerry Schumann Day!
Kerry took the reins at Wisconsin Conservation Voters in 2004 and rapidly moved the organization from a two-person startup to the political force it is today. From day one, she’s led us forward by keeping citizen engagement at the center of our strategy to protect the environment. |
I’m proud to share with you that we’ll also be recognizing Kerry’s twenty-year record of hard-fought victories when we honor her at our annual Green Tie celebration in Milwaukee on September 18. Sponsors will have the opportunity to place a message of congratulations in the event’s program book. I’d be delighted if you would consider sponsoring that event in honor of Kerry and our other esteemed awardees.

Kerry does so much to lift up and appreciate others, so please join me in taking this special opportunity to say thank you!
And thanks so much to you for all you do as a part of our movement to engage voters to protect Wisconsin’s environment! |
