With so much happening in our world, we've all had to make changes to the way we interact with each other. This is certainly true for my campaign for the U.S. Senate. For now – no campaign rallies or BBQ's, no door-to-door canvassing, no voter registration tables, no in-person fundraising events, and no yard sign blitzes. The critical 2020 election is still on schedule for this November, so we've had to come up with creative solutions to continue reaching out to voters. John, this means we are running a virtual campaign almost exclusively online and on the telephone. Just last night, we did a telephone town hall with thousands of South Carolinians. We've done video conferences and Facebook Live sessions where we've answered questions and listened to important feedback. We've been reaching out to voters via email, social media, online ads, and phone calls. Now, we are rethinking our entire campaign spending plan. We've got to budget significantly more for the additional online campaigning we're doing right now, so we've created the Virtual Campaign Fund to pay for this month's additional expenses. We've set a goal to raise $40,000 in the next 3 days for the Virtual Campaign Fund. If you are able to help at this time, I would greatly appreciate your support.
