You may have seen the news that a certain governor – who has been considered to be a potential running mate for Donald Trump – recently bragged about her decision to shoot and kill a 14-month-old “unruly” puppy.

I’m a proud dog dad myself. If you’re like me, you consider your dog part of the family. I mean… just look how perfect Finn is!

I’ve always tried to push for policies to protect animals across the Commonwealth. That’s why I secured the release of nearly 450 beagles from terrible conditions at a breeding facility in Cumberland. That’s why I’ve worked to protect show horses from the cruel and inhumane practice of soring. And that’s why I’ll always push for justice for animals.

Let’s elect leaders who help our furry friends, not hurt them.
