This is Sam Brown. 

I am running for U.S. Senate in Nevada, which is undoubtedly one of the toughest races in the country this year.

My story is different from most politicians you have probably heard of.

In 2008, I almost saw God.

I was serving in Afghanistan when my humvee went over a roadside bomb that exploded.

This was me before:

And this is me now:

I almost didn’t make it out alive, but by the grace of God, I am here today.

For years I struggled with my faith.

I was questioning why God chose to save my life.

The one answer I have been able to take away from this experience is that God knew I needed more time.

More time to make a difference in the country I love.

I’ve always had a passion for service, but I didn’t know how I’d continue after I was medically retired from the military.

Then I realized there were other ways to support veterans and SERVE the country I love.

That is why I am running for U.S. Senate.

America is DESPERATE for leaders who know what it means to sacrifice and are ready to do whatever it takes to get our country back. 

I know times are tough but I am running in one of the toughest races this year, and I would be honored if you would lend me your support, Friend.
