Dear Friend, I know these last few weeks have been difficult, but we aren’t out of the woods yet. President Trump wisely extended the CDC guidelines through the rest of April. And it is so important, more than ever before, that we all do our part to help save lives during this COVID-19 pandemic. Even if you don’t feel sick, it is critical that we keep our distance from each other for the time being. The more that we all commit to this means the faster we are able to stop the spread. Kentuckians have to look out for each other during these challenging times and I know that we will rise to the occasion. We are united in this fight, and our great Commonwealth will get through this. I commend all of the incredible doctors, nurses and everyone else who is fighting COVID-19 on the frontlines. And our local health departments and community leaders who are stepping up right now and working tirelessly on our behalf have our gratitude. We will remember all of these heroes in the years to come and the sacrifices being made for our safety. But right now, make sure to do your part. Take care of your families, and make the right decisions to keep yourselves safe. Pay close attention to what the experts are saying, and follow their recommendations. There is light at the end of this tunnel. We will gather again with our family, friends and neighbors when this storm has passed. And I know that I look forward to the day when I can meet with you and discuss our ideas for a brighter future for Kentucky. Be Well, Andy Barr Andy Barr For Congress | P.O.
