Our Community Our Kids (OCOK) and Metroplex West (Region 3W) Transition to Stage II of CBC

On May 1, 2024, Our Community Our Kids (OCOK) [ [link removed] ] moved to Stage II of Community-Based Care (CBC) in Cooke, Denton, and Wise counties in the Metroplex West (Region 3W) community area [ [link removed] ]. This transition was made possible by the dedicated staff, passionate stakeholders, and committed community members who collaborated to move this region fully into CBC.

Stage II expands the current continuum of services for families and increases permanency outcomes for children. In Stage II, OCOK will provide case management, kinship, and reunification services in its community. OCOK, which is a division of ACH Child and Family Services, has been the Single Source Continuum Contractor (SSCC) in Metroplex West since 2014.
