The Obesity Action Coalition (OAC) believes every person deserves quality care and empathy when visiting the doctor. We know that people with obesity often face bias and blame while seeking healthcare, and we want to change that. 

For the last year, the OAC has worked with fellow OAC members with obesity to create a scenario that captures an ideal, or “wished for,” doctor visit for a person with obesity.

Our goal is to share this with the media and medical community to drive necessary change. But first, we need to validate this scenario with a broader audience. The more people who provide feedback, the more persuasive our results will be.
