Vaisakhi

*For all the latest news from the Nottingham Asian Arts Council*

Hi there,

Welcome to another edition of our NAAC e-alert to keep you informed of up-coming events.

Our NAAC Music & Dance Academy classes take place every Wednesday from 5:30pm-8:00pm. Come join us, for fitness, Yoga & Wellbeing at Wollaton and Newstead; or come along to learn a new dance move, an instrument, singing, make new friends and have some fun.

Our Academy students are given the opportunity to participate at loads of local events organised by NAAC and other organisations...so come along and be that budding star!

Many thanks to all our Academy students, tutors and artists who performed at the Holi in the Park and Ay-Up Market event in Nottingham. Everyone enjoyed the performances and we got lots of positive feedback from all.

*Now...after a very successful and Sold Out Holi in the Park event, we are looking forward to the Vaisakhi in the Park event on Sunday 12 May 2024, from 12pm-5pm. Please let us know if you'd like to volunteer in this and our future events...*

*?? Who Can Join? ??*

Our classes are open to music enthusiasts of all levels, from beginners to advanced players. However, due to the nature of the instrument, we recommend that participants be aged 10 years and above, as this age group typically finds it easier to grasp the fundamentals of flute playing.

*Time : 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm*

NAAC is looking for sponsorships/donations in order to carry on with the running of our Music and Dance classes. If you can or know of any businesses/individuals who can help us, then please get in touch with NAAC.
