Things are changing by the day -- we want to fill you in on what Mikie has been working on to address the coronavirus outbreak and support New Jersey families, health care providers, workers, and small businesses:

→ Mikie joined colleagues of both parties to call on the president and federal officials to use the powers available to them to make sure New Jersey receives the critical medical equipment and protective gear -- including ventilators, face masks, and eye protection -- it needs to respond to the pandemic, expand care, and protect frontline workers.

→ Mikie is working with local manufacturers to figure out ways for them to safely increase production to ensure health care providers and first responders have the supplies they need.

→ Mikie helped pass legislation that will provide New Jerseyans impacted by the coronavirus with small business support, direct financial assistance, paid sick leave, food assistance, unemployment insurance, and free COVID-19 testing.

Mikie’s priority remains the health and well-being of every resident of our state. She’s continuing to work with all of the necessary parties to ensure a robust and timely response to this health crisis.

Many of you have heard the news that Mikie's husband has tested positive for COVID-19. Luckily, Mikie has tested negative. She wants to let everyone know that her family is doing okay, and to say thank you for the prayers and supportive messages you have sent.
