_With the COVID-19 pandemic hitting hard all across the South, Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves has decided to spend his valuable time declaring April as “Confederate Heritage Month”. _

This is just absolutely ridiculous. While there is _NEVER_ an appropriate time to honor the racist legacy of the Confederacy, IT’S ESPECIALLY DEPLORABLE THAT GOV. REEVES IS SPENDING HIS TIME DOING IT DURING A PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY.
