Dear John,

Conflicts around the world have the most horrific impact on innocent people’s lives, like the people of Sudan who not only have been forced out of their homes due to conflict but are now facing yet another crisis – hunger.

At least 25 million Sudanese people need immediate, emergency help. Families are already going hungry, and famine is looming.

Please help us reach our L7,500 goal so that we can supply safe drinking water and essential cash for food to 1,500 vulnerable families today.

Please donate today

CAFOD has been working in Sudan since the 1970s and thanks to donations like yours, we are already responding to this crisis through our Church network and other local partners to support families. Our local partners live and work among the communities affected – this presence enables aid to reach those who cannot be easily reached. But the situation is dire, and our partners need urgent support as there are so many more people that they need to reach.

You can help to provide:

-
cash payments to families, so they can buy their own food, as well as other essentials like medicine
- water - we can repair damage to pipelines so that water can reach the communities
- hygiene kits with essentials like soap and sanitary towels to prevent the spread of diseases

Help people get vital aid

As little as L5 can help provide clean water to a family, L65 can help repair community water pipelines and L70 can provide one family with cash assistance to purchase food and other essentials.

Whatever you give today will help us reach more families with the urgent assistance they need and deserve. Please continue to pray for all those affected by this crisis.

With my best wishes,

Telley Sadia
