Recently, President Trump rejected House Democrats’ request for more vote-by-mail funding, because more Americans voting might mean more Republican losses in November.

President Trump said increased funding would lead to “levels of voting that, if you ever agreed to it, you’d never have a Republican elected in this country again.”

This proves what we already knew -- President Trump and Washington Republicans are motivated by what best serves their political interests, not what best serves the American people.
