Surviving Spring in the Boundary Waters with Dave and Amy Freeman
Join us this Thursday, April 9th at 4 p.m. Central Time for this week's #OptInside Webinar with Explorers Dave and Amy Freeman to talk springtime ("shoulder season") in the Boundary Waters, coping with isolation on expeditions, and ways to get involved with Save the Boundary Waters during these more isolated (and digital) times.
Dave and Amy Freeman have traveled over 30,000 miles by kayak, canoe and dogsled through some of the world’s wildest places, from the Amazon to the Arctic. They spent a full year travelling and living in the Boundary Waters to raise awareness about the fight to protect this wild and beautiful place. Dave and Amy will share wisdom from their adventures on dealing with isolation that may help the rest of us during this time of distancing to slow the spread of Covid-19. RSVP to join the Freemans on Thursday!
