The Washington State Republican Party Convention was a magnificent example of self-governance where over 1,800 delegates from across the state gathered to decide on who they would nominate and endorse to represent them for the Office of Governor of Washington State.
When the dust had settled and the votes were cast and tallied, the results were conclusive, Semi Bird would advance to the primary election as the people’s choice, by a supermajority vote of 72%
