Dear John,
Thanks to President Biden—and my colleagues in the House and Senate—I can confidently say I’m better off now than I was four years ago. Four years ago, our country was devastated by the COVID-19 pandemic, unemployment was at a high, inflation was rising, and hate-laced words from our former President were the norm. Since then, President Biden and Congressional Democrats have ushered us into a new era of progress.
It’s clear that Democrats will fight for you and your family. We’ve already prioritized protecting abortion rights, lowering prescription drug costs, reducing poverty amongst children and families, and preserving our environment—including our San Gabriel mountains—and passing the Inflation Reduction Act.
With so much progress already accomplished in President Biden’s first term, we still have so much more to do in the next four years. We need to keep him in office, flip the House blue, and maintain our majority in the Senate. Today is the last day of the month and we are up against a deadline. Can you help us win these Democratic majorities so we can continue fighting for you?
