E.P.A. Severely Limits Pollution From Coal-Burning Power Plants
New regulations could spell the end for plants that burn coal, the fossil fuel that powered the country for more than a century

This is major progress, John. And EDF Action members helped make it happen. We signed thousands and thousands of letters to the EPA to demand action and they delivered. Now, we want to make sure they know how glad we are.

Say thank you→

Last week, the EPA announced a slew of new protections to reduce pollution from the largest industrial source: fossil fuel plants.

These rules will save lives, slash climate pollution from new gas-burning power plants and existing coal-burning power plants, and as a result strengthen our efforts to fight the climate crisis.

We’re proud of this announcement, and want to hear our supporters are standing with us. Will you help us show the EPA how excited we are before the end of THIS WEEK.
