The health and safety of North Texans is my top priority as your Congressman. As the coronavirus pandemic continues, our health care workers on the front lines need our support more than ever. North Texas hospitals are currently seeing a shortage in personal protective equipment (PPE). Dallas County needs protective supplies to keep our front line health workers safe. PPE is vital to keeping our health care workers safe and helps to stop the spread of COVID-19. 

I recently led a bipartisan effort to urge the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to provide assistance and expertise to address challenges on the frontlines of the outbreak. I’ve also repeatedly urged the President to use the full power of the Defense Production Act to produce the medical equipment needed to combat this virus. 

I will continue to fight for federal assistance for our region and PPE for North Texas health care workers. To combat the spread of this global pandemic, we will need everyone’s help. If you have protective equipment, please consider donating to your fellow North Texans. It could save lives.
