Funding in Haiti and Palestine Amid Devastating Conditions

We had the opportunity to speak with Inside Philanthropy to shed light on the critical situations unfolding in Gaza and Haiti. Amid the devastating violence, hunger crises have emerged, demanding urgent attention and action.

Learn firsthand about Grassroots International’s efforts alongside our dedicated partners in providing support to affected communities and how philanthropy can do more to step up and extend support.

Palestine: Six Months of Genocide

It’s been six months and Gaza can’t wait a minute longer. Watch and share the new video for our Palestine Emergency Relief Fund and please donate if you can. 100% of funds raised will go to organizations on the ground in Palestine.

Welcome Natalia!

We are thrilled to welcome Natalia Cardona Sanchez as our Program Manager. Natalia brings decades of experience in cross-movement solidarity work spanning issues of environmental, racial, and economic justice, Indigenous rights, women’s rights, partnership development and peacebuilding.

Haiti: Our Country Needs a Solution Coming from Its People

Leaders from Haitian peasant movements — our partners — write for Al Jazeera on why they oppose foreign intervention as a solution. Throughout its history, Haiti has endured a series of external interventions that have eroded its sovereignty and directly led to the current crisis.

Building Solidarity with QCDs

With April including both Earth Day and Tax Day, now is a good time to consider making a gift to Grassroots International from your IRA that will both lower your taxes associated with RMDs and pay-it-forward towards the Earth and social movements globally.

Join Our Team: Hiring for a Data Systems Associate

Grassroots International is hiring! We're seeking someone with an analytical data-driven mind and a soul for human rights and social justice.

Experience in CRM and donor management software like Charity Engine, Salesforce, or EveryAction is preferred. A passion for grassroots movements defending land, territory, water, seeds, and the earth is a must.

Demand Justice for Afrodescendants at Onça Quilombo

On April 19, armed men attacked the Afrodescendant community of Onça Quilombo in Maranhão, Brazil.

Grassroots International is joining our partner MOQUIBOM in calling on people around the world to write to Brazilian state and federal officials to open an investigation into the attack and to protect the quilombola territory from further assaults. Please sign the letter and spread the word.
