Over the past several weeks, my team has been raising the alarm bells about how far Speaker Mike Johnson is willing to go to flip this seat red.

First, he flew from D.C. to Stockton to hold a fundraiser for my opponent.

Then, we learned from the FEC reports that Speaker Johnson personally cut our opponent a $60k check.

Now, I have to decide how many resources we can spend to grow our organizing team. We know grassroots organizing is critical for reaching voters, but I’m not sure how much we can invest given all the support our opponent is receiving from the top brass in Washington.

I’ve told my team that if we reach our end-of-month goal, we can move forward with our organizing plans. But if we fall short, we have to hold back.
