Today is our end of month fundraising deadline, and we're $7,283 away from reaching our goal.
Hitting this goal is key to unseating my party-switching Republican opponent this November. This is how we send a message to Trump before he comes to our district in a few days.
John, winning this race is the key to flipping the House this November, and hitting this goal will go a long way to accomplishing that. Plus, my Republican opponent Jeff Van Drew is one of Trump's closest allies and is bringing him here next month. John, we're going toe to toe with Jeff Van Drew. He may have MAGA money and Trump behind his campaign, but I am pleased to have the people of South Jersey instead.
Jeff Van Drew already does everything Trump wants, and now he's bringing Trump to our district next month and thinks that we won't have anything to say about it! South Jersey continues to rally behind me—I got yet another endorsement recently from UNITE HERE Local 54, a union which is the voice of over 11,000 local hospitality workers.
I know that if we work together we can knock Van Drew out of the house in November and create a Democratic majority. No longer will our congressman be one of Trump's cronies. Instead, we can elect someone who will truly put the needs of our district first.
Jeff Van Drew's voting record is exactly what you'd expect: inaction on common sense gun control laws, refusals to protect abortion rights. Even more recently he was part of the group of MAGA Republicans who refused to vote in favor of aid for Ukraine.
John, can you help me send a message to both Jeff Van Drew and especially Trump that neither of them is tolerated in South Jersey? Finishing this month strong will not only help us keep pace with Van Drew on the campaign trail, but will also make him and Trump sleep a little bit worse at night. As a New Jersey native, Tim enjoyed a long and distinguished career in law enforcement for the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office as a Detective Captain of the Criminal Investigation Section. After retiring from the Prosecutor’s Office, Tim immediately began working for the Philadelphia District Attorney as a member of the Philadelphia Youth Aid Panel. Later, Tim joined the Civil Rights Unit for the Philadelphia Solicitor’s Office. Eventually, Tim left public service and went into private practice handling civil litigation and currently is “Of Counsel” for Helmer, Conley & Kasselman, P.A. Tim continues to provide legal service in many aspects of law but concentrates his practice on Civil Rights and Employment Discrimination.
Tim was born and raised in Newark, NJ where his personal journey led him to public service. Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and a master's degree in business administration from Drexel University and a J.D. from Rutgers University.
Tim and his wife, Anna, live in Southern New Jersey.
