John – I know I’ve talked a lot about our huge fundraising goal this month. I want to take a moment to explain what I’m asking you to invest in.
There’s a secret weapon in CO-04 that spells defeat for MAGA-first extremists like Lauren Boebert. Over 20% of the voting-age population here are Hispanic. They live in the rural counties, and very few of them vote.
Our field team is building out a dedicated Latino voter outreach strategy. If we can get these folks registered and encourage them to take an active role in our democracy – a role they are entitled to – then against the odds we can flip the reddest district in Colorado.
That’s why the funding to open our field office and hire assistants for our regional directors in May is so urgent.
I’m going to level with you: We are still only 50% of the way to our goal, and we need a windfall today to meet these targets in May.
I refuse to stand by while extremists like Boebert lie about the border and drum up fear and hatred against our Hispanic neighbors just to keep their claws in CO-04. I need your help to fight back. Will you join me?
