The year of 1864 is somehow now more relevant than ever, most notably, in the state of Arizona.
Why?
Because something that existed in the year of 1864 was an abortion law codified through the "Howell Code."

And YET, just earlier this month, the Arizona Supreme Court decided it was a good idea to revive the provision from the Howell Code, which upholds a near-total abortion ban for rape or incest.
John, -- an abortion law from 1864 has no business being revived in 2024. While states have already put abortion restrictions in place, this has the potential to ripple across the entire country.
