Samuel, I wish I could tell you exactly what to expect
now that Donald Trump is president.

But Donald says one thing and does another. Sometimes
it doesn't even take a whole day before a policy position
he's announced gets reversed.

There's no way to predict what he'll tweet in the middle of
the night -- or who he'll attack.

He has chosen to fill his Cabinet with people so
outrageously unqualified that some don't even know what
the agency they've been picked to run does.




So we have to be ready for anything. That's not an
exaggeration, Samuel -- we can't be sure what the real-world
impact of Donald's dangerous unpredictability will be.

I know that Democrats have what it takes to fight back, no
matter what comes our way. It's been a while, but I still
remember what had to be done the last time there was a
Republican president and Congress.

But it's going to take a greater commitment to our country's
guiding principles and our party's values -- from all of us. So
today I'm asking you to chip in $3 or whatever you can and
stand with us:

Thank you for everything you do to support this party, for
being a part of this movement. As we prepare for what's to
come, I hope you take a minute to remember all the good
we've done in the past eight years under President Obama.
And I hope that gets you fired up to keep fighting -- I know
I am.
