We’ve got a problem, team, and we need your help to solve it.

Earlier this year we interviewed some incredible activists from around the country to ask them about their state Attorneys General. But almost NO ONE knew who their state AG was, or even really what state AGs do! These individuals are passionate about issues like health care, immigration, and reproductive rights -- all issues that Democratic AGs work on every day. But people didn’t make that connection.

Let’s change that. Democratic AGs are responsible for more than 90 lawsuits against Trump, and have stopped his dangerous agenda more effectively than anyone else. Democratic AGs have:

• BLOCKED Trump’s discriminatory "Citizenship Question" from appearing on the 2020 Census.
• BLOCKED Trump’s attempt to rollback coverage for cost-free birth control.
• DEFENDED the Affordable Care Act and health care for millions of Americans from Trump and GOP attacks.
• PROTECTED the DACA Program and DREAMers from Trump, resulting in more than half a million DACA recipients renewing their status.
• PROTECTED workers’ wages from attacks by Trump and the GOP

While it’s hard to remember with the 24-hour news cycle focused on the race for the White House, there is SO MUCH MORE at stake in 2020 than just the Presidential election. And if we are going to truly reject Trump and the GOP, we need to elect Democrats up and down the ballot in states across the country.

And that’s exactly what we plan to do. We’ve invested in an innovative texting platform that allows us to reach millions of voters for a fraction of the cost of traditional campaign tactics. And we are investing early in critical battleground states like North Carolina and Pennsylvania where Trump’s future will be decided.

We need to talk to voters about what’s at stake: health care, education, reproductive rights, our environment, and so much more. If we beat Trump, but lose critical down-ballot races, the next Democratic President will be tied up with lawsuits and legislative gridlock. We need to keep the bigger picture in mind -- and that means wins up and down the ballot.
