We can’t only work with children after they’ve been victimized.

We realized a long time ago that even though our work providing care for survivors of child trafficking is incredibly important, we can’t only work with children after they’ve been victimized. We have to also figure out how to stop trafficking from ever happening in the first place.

To end child trafficking, prevention is key.

So that's why we developed Not A Number ([link removed]) .

Not a Number is our child trafficking prevention curriculum that goes beyond raising awareness. With Not a Number, we equip youth with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize their own vulnerabilities and where traffickers may seek to exploit them. Not a Number teaches youth to spot the recruitment tactics used by traffickers and helps them build the skills to navigate potentially dangerous situations. It challenges harmful stereotypes, builds resilience, and helps youth identify healthy supports.
