Ottawa County Unemployment Rate for March 2024

Preliminary unemployment rates for March 2024 were recently released by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. Ottawa County had an unemployment rate of 3.0%, the third lowest of all counties in Michigan. Rates across the state ranged from 2.7% in Livingston County to 17.8% in Mackinac County.

Seventy-six counties in Michigan, including Ottawa County, saw their unemployment rates decrease from February to March. Since the start of 2024, unemployment rates have decreased in 75 counties.
