Did you know that accessible child care could boost women's income collectively by $130 billion over their lifetimes? Yet, the current system leaves too many families struggling to afford quality care and too many childcare providers unable to make ends meet, maintaining a cycle of poverty and inequality. Women, especially women of color, have long been undervalued and underpaid for the essential work they do to keep our economy running. It's time we value the invaluable work of women in our economy.
