Dear Mr. xxxxxx,
I wanted to pass along my latest update on what I have been doing to fight for you, Texas’ 21st Congressional District, and our country as a whole:
Soros is trying to shortcut buying radio giant Audacy
George Soros is trying to fast-track his acquisition of a major radio company, Audacy, through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Audacy owns more than 220 local radio stations in over 40 markets and is the second-largest American radio group behind iHeart.
But instead of going through the usual petition for declaratory ruling process, the Soros group has asked the FCC to waive that process and put it off until sometime down the road. That's why I have called on the FCC to not grant a special exemption – Soros should not get a shortcut.
Our border comes first
The U.S. border is not in Kenya. The U.S. border is not in Iraq. The U.S. border is not in Indonesia. Yet, instead of taking care of our own border, Congress and the Biden administration would rather send millions to enhance border security for foreign countries like these.
This is exactly why the citizens of this country can’t stand what goes on in Washington. We need to close our border now and protect the citizens of America first.
