Dear John, I’m thrilled to announce the promotion of Ruth McFarlane to Deputy CEO of the Ms. Foundation for Women! Ruth previously served as Chief Advancement Officer since 2021, overseeing development and communications. She first joined the Ms. Foundation in 2019 as Vice President of Advancement. Under her leadership, the foundation has experienced tremendous growth in fundraising revenue, including the launch of the largest capital campaign in the organization’s history, Creating the Future We Deserve, to mark our 50th anniversary. In her new role, Ruth will lead the day-to-day financial, operational, and cultural sustainability of the organization and will work alongside me to establish the strategic direction of the foundation going forward. Ruth has accomplished so much in her nearly five years at the Ms. Foundation and I look forward to collaborating with her in this new role as a valued thought partner. This elevation is indicative of the foundation’s strong future and continued growth as we work to build women’s collective power in the years ahead.
