Fellow activist, did you see this message?

Not only did we see concerningly low turnout for last Tuesday’s presidential primary election, but Republicans are making major voter registration gains.

Republican Voter Registration is Booming in Pennsylvania

We are sounding the alarms! Not only do we need to work to register voters ahead of November’s election, but we also need to ensure that they understand the stakes and have everything they need to cast their ballots.

We cannot afford to wait until the fall. Will you rush $25 or more to help us fund our voter engagement and outreach programs NOW?

We have a turnout problem that you need to hear about, fellow activist:

According to PoliticsPA, only 1 in 4 registered voters – both Republicans and Democrats – turned out to cast their ballots in last week’s presidential primary election.

Additionally, “Only 12 of the Commonwealth’s 67 counties saw turnout that exceeded 30 percent, headlined by Wyoming County that saw 34.63 percent of its 5,350 registered voters go to the poll or mail in a ballot.”

The percentage that turned out to vote on Tuesday was about half of the number that turned out in 2020, with Pittsburgh seeing the lowest presidential primary turnout since 2012.

We are concerned, fellow activists. Low turnout is detrimental to our nation, and with voting rights, common sense gun reform, abortion access, climate, and more on the ballot, we have to do everything we can to mobilize and engage voters ahead of November.

We need your support. Will you rush $25 or more to help us fund our voter outreach programs so we can ensure that voters know what’s at stake this November? The work has to start now.
