Mark your calendar! Gov. Janet Mills has moved Maine’s Primary Election. Per Gov. Mills, “For now we’re anticipating holding the election on [Tuesday] July 14th.”

Even through these difficult times, it is more important than ever for us to participate in elections and choose who will represent us in Washington. We are 98 days away from choosing our Democratic nominee for Senate. Our next Senator needs to fight for policies that will help Maine during a public health crisis – policies like Medicare for All, Paid Sick Leave, Family Medical Leave, and Fair Drug Prices.

We didn’t expect the primary campaign to last this long. Now that we have an extra month until the primary, we have more time that we need to spread our message throughout Maine via costly television and digital ads. We need your help to spread our message of progress.

I’m the only progressive endorsed by Justice Democrats, Brand New Congress, and Democracy for America in this race, and that makes me the best candidate to beat Susan Collins.
