My mom grew up in Waycross, Georgia. You know where that is? It’s waaay ‘cross Georgia.

Every time I think about my mom’s hometown, I’m reminded that no matter where you are in our great state, GA Dems have you on our minds.

There’s no corner in Georgia that’s too small for our care and attention. Whether the population in your town is 500,000, 5,000, 500, or even just 5, we’re stronger when we come together. But before I do, I’ve got to be real with you: One of the biggest honors of my life was when Georgians sent me to Washington for a full six-year term, but the path to victory wasn’t easy. It took all of us, in small towns all across Georgia.

Y’all showed up for me then, and I’m asking you to show up again. Look, I’ve been on the ballot plenty of times the past few years and I learned a thing or two on the campaign trail. But here’s what stuck with me most: every Georgian matters, every Georgia town matters, and every donation matters in this fight for our futures.

As I think about the kind of world I want to leave behind for my children, it’s a world with affordable and accessible healthcare, a thriving sustainable environment, strong communities and towns, and ambitious leaders who care about people, not politics.
