I hope you and your loved ones are faring well as we navigate these difficult times.

Every year, the Alliance holds a luncheon to celebrate our successes to date and speak to the work ahead. This event, which features renowned speakers from the GVP movement, helps us raise nearly half of our annual operating budget.

Unfortunately, the coronavirus has made it impossible to safely hold our event in Seattle this year. We have made the difficult decision to do a virtual event instead. The good news is that this format allows us to welcome supporters from all across the country who otherwise would not be able to attend.

We’ll be sharing more details about what the event will look like in the days and weeks ahead. For now, please save the date for Monday, June 1st at 12pm PT/ 3pm ET.

We know that right now is a challenging time for everybody. But we also know that one public health crisis doesn’t stop for another. The uncertainty caused by the virus coupled with social distancing threatens to increase the threat of suicide, domestic violence, and unintentional shootings in particular.

We are so grateful for your continued support and I know we’ll get through this together.
