I’m awash with a mix of nerves and excitement, because tomorrow is May 1st, and that means we’re less than two weeks from the Maryland Democratic Primary.

The finish line for this competitive primary is in sight and I’m more than ready to win this thing!

But first things first: At midnight tonight, we’ve got our final End-of-Month Fundraising Goal before the primary.

Coming up short is out of the question, which is why I’m hoping this grassroots team will do what it does best: Come through in the clutch and give Team Alsobrooks a huge burst of momentum.

Tonight’s deadline is about a heck of a lot more than just dollars and cents.

Don’t get me wrong: Every single dollar is critical, especially when you consider that Angela’s primary opponent has dropped *checks notes* $47 MILLION of his own money on ads to try and buy this race.

But here’s the thing: Hitting this goal would also be an incredible display of grassroots strength heading into the final sprint.

It would show that not only do we have what it takes to win the primary on May 14th, but would set us up with the momentum we need to take on a very, very competitive GOP opponent in Larry Hogan.
