Liberal Congressman Colin Allred, the Democrat running against Senator Ted Cruz in Texas’s U.S. Senate election this fall, fashions himself a moderate.
As you know, this is an old campaign tactic for Democrats running in red states. It’s also a scam, a mask left-wing partisans put on and the media promotes in election years.
But behind the phony photo-ops and rhetoric, Colin Allred’s campaign seems to be connected to every extremist, Marxist, woke outfit in the world.

Like all Democrats running against conservative senators, Allred is supported by the abortion industry, trans extremists, environmental extremists, gun grabbers, Big Brother censors, and every other arm of the Woke Industrial Complex.
But his Federal Election Commission reports tell an even more extreme story.
One of Allred’s donors and a personal mentor is a radical California law professor who has promoted “Dream Defenders,” an organization formed to abolish the police and prisons. Dream Defenders has also supported the Palestinian terror group Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
Another Allred donor is a board member of the Muslim Public Affairs Council, an organization that blamed Israel for the October 7 Hamas attacks and has lobbied the federal government to de-list Hamas and Hezbollah as international terrorist organizations.
Indeed, an investigation by the Washington Free Beacon found that Allred’s FEC reports are full of donors linked to anti-Israel causes — not to mention woke billionaire kingpin George Soros himself.
You won’t hear about this from corporate media in Washington or Texas. They are rooting for Allred because they hate Ted Cruz. They are just as extreme as Allred and perfectly willing to present him to the public as a moderate or even conservative if it helps him win.
Never mind the truth that in his five years in the House, Allred has supported Joe Biden’s open borders fiasco and amnesty for illegal immigrants. He voted for D.C. statehood to create two more Democrat Senate seats out of whole cloth. He even said he wished the Second Amendment had never been written!
Colin Allred is the Elite Left’s mole in Texas. Beltway special interests and globalist elites are pouring money into his campaign — $4.8 million in the last quarter of 2023, and that was before he won the Democrat nomination.
Ted Cruz is fighting back against Allred as tirelessly as he has fought against the Swamp since he first arrived in the Senate in 2013.
But he can’t do it alone.
Ted Cruz has a slight lead in the recent polls, but that won’t hold if he gets overwhelmed by an ocean of liberal campaign contributions.
