Anisa* lives among the Maasai people of Tanzania who are largely unreached. When her husband left her to raise their children on her own, people like you helped her realize she is not alone.

After drilling several new wells in the area, the local staff team was able to build relationships with Anisa’s people. They also shared the eternal hope of Jesus and established new churches near the well sites.

Anisa frequently drew water from one of the new wells. Whenever she came to the well, the local pastor would talk to her about Jesus. She was also invited to a women’s health workshop in her community.

During the workshop Anisa had the opportunity to connect with other women who followed Jesus. She learned important information about health and hygiene. She received critical care for herself and her family, and she heard about the hope of Jesus.

Anisa joyfully responded to the message! Now she and her children are part of the local church in her community. Even though it is challenging to raise her children on her own, she knows she is never truly alone.

Thank you for meeting the physical and spiritual needs of women like Anisa by providing them with lifesaving critical aid and for creating opportunities for them to experience the hope of Jesus.
