Today is the SAAM Day of Action and we invite you to join us in wearing teal and sharing a selfie on social media. By wearing teal — the color of sexual assault awareness and prevention — you're showing your solidarity with survivors and advocates everywhere when it may be needed the most. Make sure to use #SAAM, #IAsk, and #WearTealFor in your post so others can find it.
Additionally, due to the current public health crisis, many in-person SAAM events are being canceled, postponed, or reimagined as online events. All month long we'll be highlighting ways you can still make a difference on our Twitter page, including sharing ways we're seeing folks adapt their events (like the University of Arkansas and Stanford). We hope you'll follow along on social media and join in some of the other activities listed below to help keep the light of SAAM shining this April.
