Dear John,

Introducing…Texas Values University! Texas Values

University (TVU) is an educational and empowerment

initiative that helps Texans “graduate to an advanced

level of citizenship,” on the issues of pro-life, religious

freedom, marriage and family and parental rights. This

game-changing effort will primarily be accessed through

an online portal and website, where Texans can access

lectures, “how to” training and skills development, with

some limited in-person events. TVU resources and

materials will also be available in hard copy.

YOU KNOW IN TEXAS WE ALWAYS THINK BIG and Texas Values will feature its in-house, state of the art

studio, to produce video and audio recordings for TVU featuring experts in key fields and functions. Examples

include: Kelly Shackelford, Rick Green, Abby Johnson, Jonathan Saenz–How Texas Bill Becomes Law; Mary Elizabeth Castle (Texas Values) and Riley Gaines on #SaveWomensSports and more! Other topics include Council and School Board meetings, why education choice matters for parental rights, and more.

TVU participants will receive a certificate of completion and mastery after a 6-8 “course” minimum and a successful passing grade on a quiz, with expansion in the future.

The last couple of months we have taken some major steps so far and have already filmed 3 sessions and created a landing page for Texas Values University. We are still in the process of putting together some technical pieces and our goal is to get this “off the ground” by June of this year if not sooner.

Texas Values University is expected to cost us around $250,000 to get this project off the ground and running. This will be beneficial to all Texans. Donations of $10,000 or more will get you on our new wall of honor! We will also gift to you two free tickets to our annual policy forum in September and two free tickets to our annual gala in the Fall.

Please make your most generous gift yet. This investment will ultimately make Texas stronger which will make the country stronger! Texas Values University is strictly a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit educational effort, so gifts from foundations are acceptable and encouraged!

Long term, we will create customized “tracks”: Student/Young Leader Track, Texas Capitol Track, Local Government Track, Faith Leader Track, etc. In addition, Texas Values University resources and materials will be available in hard copy form (on a limited basis) for participants who prefer to use a print version instead of digital.

As we continue to fiercely advocate for policies relating to faith, family, and freedom, we were recently at the U. S. Supreme Court for a major Texas court case regarding the Food and Drug Administration’s unlawful removal of crucial safety standards for pregnant women who use abortion drugs mifepristone and misoprostol (chemical abortion drugs). This case was originally filed in Amarillo, Texas Federal Court. Most abortions are now “chemical abortions” and many young women are having these shipped to them in the mail, making it hard to watch for fraud and targeting of vulnerable Texas women.

Texas Values legal and policy team members showed up with our legal and policy expertise and we signed onto a legal amicus brief that was filed at the U. S. Supreme Court.

“On March 26, 2024 the Supreme Court heard one of the biggest cases to determine the health and safety of women and babies since the overturning of Roe 2 years ago. The facts are clear. Abortion drugs often end the lives of two people and not just one. 1 in 25 women will go to the hospital if they ingest these abortion pills. We must protect women and babies from the deadly dosage that should have more federal restrictions and even be banned in the state of Texas.” – Texas Values Team Member, Mary Elizabeth Castle

While at the Supreme Court, we appeared in several major media interviews to tell the correct facts on this life-and-death issue. We used our longtime relationships and credibility to amplify and multiply the voice of other important and like-minded experts and pro-life leaders.

Please donate generously today so your trusted Texas Values team and your pro-life values can continue to have a voice in Texas and at the U. S. Supreme Court.

We show up when it matters most. Help us continue our fight for Texas and the unborn!

Finally, make sure to mark your calendar for the 7th Annual Texas Faith, Family & Freedom Forum on September 13-14th, 2024! For more information on this event and future events see txvalues.org/events. In closing, do you share our determination to continue to fight for our faith, family, and freedoms? If so, I ask a simple request to give the biggest gift you can today at txvalues.org/donate
