Dear John,

The combination of medically unnecessary restrictions, COVID-19 risks, and an ongoing economic crisis means getting abortion care in the U.S. is more difficult than ever.

That’s why our physician advocates are not slowing down... they’re getting louder. They’re on the frontlines still caring for patients and exposing how anti-abortion extremists are shamelessly exploiting this pandemic to restrict abortion access:

Fellow Dr. Jen Villavicencio spoke to Glamour about how people still need access to abortion care, especially during a pandemic.

Fellow Dr. Ashley Brant spoke to Vox about what it’s like to access abortion in Ohio in the time of COVID-19.

At this time of crisis, we can’t be prouder of our dedicated advocates who continue to speak out amid challenging circumstances and for people like you who continue to show your love and support for these health care providers.

Our country needs the voices of these trusted medical professionals more than ever. We’re committed to working every day to ensure they’re heard.

Thank you for continuing to be there for us. I hope you and your loved ones remain safe and healthy.

Sincerely,

Daniela Ochoa Diaz
Assistant Director, Public Policy
