# [#]The race for Commissioner of Public Lands is heating up fast and some of my opponents are scrambling for endorsements. I’m proud to share that I have the support of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union Local 23, Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission, Coastal Troller Association, Washington Indian Gaming Association, 16 Tribal Nations and Washington leaders like current Commissioner of Public Lands, Hilary Franz and retired Congressman, Norm Dicks.

I’ve worked to earn the support of all kinds of Washingtonians. It’s important to me that the coalition of people supporting my campaign is as diverse as our state. If you’re supporting my campaign, will you rush a contribution before the critical end of month deadline today? [[link removed]]DONATE [[link removed]]

What I hear over and over again is that Washingtonians are terrified of what happens if our next Commissioner of Public Lands is a climate change denier who will surrender our lands to the highest bidder.

There’s a real danger in failing to take this race seriously – which is why I’m determined to include all of Washingtonians’ – from Tribal Nations to working families – in deciding who leads us into the future.

I need you to stand with me now. My opponents have powerful interests backing them – interests that don’t really care about investing in local communities or responsibly managing the lands that support them.

We need to raise $3,600 by the end of the day tomorrow. Can you pitch in $10 or $25 to help us continue expanding our grassroots movement? [[link removed]]DONATE [[link removed]]

We can’t underestimate the lengths my opponents will go to try and win this race.

That includes tapping into big money from donors with deep pockets whose only interest is using Washington’s public lands, environment, and resources for profit.

Your support now will help me compete and win so that as Commissioner of Public Lands, I can fight to secure the future for all Washingtonians.

Thanks for pitching in,

Patrick
