Earlier this year, I stood up on the Arizona Senate floor to share my abortion story, and why I believe we must fight back against the cruel one-size-fits-all approach for people seeking abortion care.

I’ve been able to experience first-hand how extreme politicians have failed the people of Arizona. When I underwent my abortion procedure in Arizona, I faced a number of hurdles that were barriers to care, like a mandatory waiting period and ultrasounds. These barriers were required by law because of extreme politicians infringing on our healthcare freedoms.
