The GOP is just getting started in this race, John.

FIRST: Extremist Speaker Mike Johnson endorsed our opponent, claiming that he “will be a tremendous partner” to the Republican party in Washington.

THEN: The second-highest-ranking House Republican, Steve Scalise, flew in for an event to boost their base before our primary election.

NOW: Donald Trump has pledged his support to our opponent. With the general election underway, all eyes are turning to this “toss-up” race.

John, national Republicans are pulling out all the stops to try and flip this seat red, but we know the truth. An endorsement from Trump means Rob Bresnahan is ready and willing to be a lackey for the most extreme members of the GOP. It means he will do whatever his party tells him to. And it means northeastern Pennsylvania will be left behind at the expense of partisan politics. We refuse to let this happen.

The GOP majority is at its thinnest point, with just four seats needing to be flipped for Democrats to take back control of the House. We have a true opportunity to end the partisan games by ending the GOP reign of chaos, but we can only do it if we hold onto every blue district in the process – including PA-08.
