They've been working tirelessly for four years

Friend,

As spring settles in across the country, the two most polluting sectors in our economy—power and transportation—are looking at an entirely different future, thanks to President Biden's EPA.

It's hard to believe, but in the last two months, they've:

Set stronger rules on mercury and air toxins, wastewater, and coal ash. This means many tons of extremely hazardous pollution will be reduced, saving lives and leading to better health in our communities.

Set the first-ever national limits on climate pollution from power plants, requiring most coal and new gas plants to cut those emissions by 90 percent, which means important progress for the climate and less pollution for communities living near power plants.

Finalized stronger standards for pollution from heavy-duty trucks and cars, cutting emissions from the most carbon-polluting sector in our economy and delivering meaningful health benefits, particularly in communities that have long called for action to address the unfair dangers they face from traffic pollution.

Will you join us in saying "thank you" to the hardworking people at EPA who made this tremendous progress happen?

SAY THANK YOU

This was a group effort. This historic progress is the direct result of a lot of good advocacy by climate and community activists, and we need you to keep using your voice to call for urgent climate action. But it also wouldn't have happened without the determined and strategic work of EPA staff, and anyone who cares about our communities and our future owes them a huge debt of gratitude.

Join us in saying "thank you" now.

Sincerely,

Dani Hupper
